At Sierra Dance Studio, we are committed to providing exceptional dance education in a positive and supportive environment. Our classes focus on building strong technical foundations while fostering creativity, confidence, and a genuine love of dance.

Our dedicated instructors are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping every student reach their full potential. Through expert training, personalized guidance, and encouragement, they challenge dancers to grow both technically and artistically.

We believe that the best learning happens in an environment where students feel supported and inspired. Our studio culture promotes respect, teamwork, and self-confidence, allowing dancers of all ages and experience levels to thrive. Whether a student is dancing for recreation or pursuing more advanced training, they will find a community that celebrates hard work, progress, and a passion for dance.

studio rules & expectations

1.All students are expected to be on time for class.
2.All students are expected to be prepared for class.
3. All students are expected to be consistent in class attendance.
4. All students are expected to respect and abide by SIERRA Dance Studio’s rules
5. Honesty and integrity are expected.
6. All students must be courteous to instructors, guest teachers, staff, and fellow dancers.
7. All students must abide by the dress code. Recreational and company dancers are required to wear the specified dress code during all classes and rehearsals.
8. Any type of bullying and harassing of fellow dancers is not tolerated.
9. Purposefully distracting fellow dancers during classes and rehearsals is not tolerated
10. No gum, food, or drinks are allowed in the studio (only water bottles are allowed in the studio). Students who have time for snack breaks can eat in the lobby of the PunchFront facility or outside. Please clean up after yourself and remind others to do the same.

It is a privilege to participate in classes, performances, and competitions. One’s behavior must always emulate that privilege!

studio policies

MAKE UP CLASSES – We understand that a student will miss a class or two during the year. a make-up class is allowed if a similar class is available, but it is not guaranteed. As the year end spring recital draws near, it is harder to provide a makeup class due to performance practice.
Please note: If excessive classes are missed, even for valid reasons, the teacher has the right to remove the student from parts of choreography, and possibly even remove the student from the winter and/or spring recital performance. Two or more absences in a one month period of class is considered excessive.
weather – It is rare for us to cancel classes because of weather. We will follow most of the school closing announcements, but we will also email and post updates on band & social media. If classes are canceled because of weather, we will ask you to make-up in another class if one is available. Classes will not be given a credit.
IF classes are canceled due to staff sickness, we will credit your account by adjusting the following month’s tuition.
Payments are due the 5th of the tuition month. the enrollment fee will be posted and charged to your parent portal account after enrollment occurs.
We accept credit card or check payments (checks must be handed in by the 1st of the month and made out to Sierra Dance studio).  Credit cards on file will be transacted on the 5th of each month. a $10 late fee will be applied to accounts that are not paid within 3 business days of the tuition due date. a $5 fee will be charged every additional day tuition is not paid. any fees paid are not refundable. notification of dropping a class must be given in writing two weeks before the 1st of the month.

Artistic Leadership – COMING SOON
